Frequently Asked Questions

1. How much does a micro wedding in Nashville cost with The Effortless Wedding?

Our average couple spends about $2500 on elopements and $15,000 on the micro wedding packages. You can find the MICRO WEDDING PACKAGES HERE.

2. Do you offer photography and planning together?

The Effortless Wedding specializes in wedding and elopement photography. We have spent nearly two decades building the skills and a dynamic team to deliver a cohesive, stress-free experience from planning to gallery delivery, which is why we do not allow outside photographers. Our process depends on the trusted systems and quality we’ve built in-house.

3. What makes The Effortless Wedding different from other micro-wedding companies?

The Effortless Wedding is built on a streamlined, all-inclusive approach that removes the overwhelm from wedding planning. Instead of juggling multiple vendors, contracts, and communication channels, you receive one cohesive team, one contract, and one beautifully organized process designed to keep everything effortless for you.

Our signature experience is rooted in open communication, full transparency, and a relationship of trust from the moment you book. Every detail including photography, planning, timeline creation, and wedding-day management flows through a single, well-structured system we’ve developed over nearly two decades in the industry.

The result?
A seamless, stress-free, boutique-style micro-wedding experience where you feel supported, understood, and fully taken care of — every step of the way.

4. How far in advance should we book our micro wedding or elopement?

Majority of our couples schedule their elopement 30 days to 1 year out and micro weddings about 9-15 months in advance. Peak seasons like spring and fall tend to be fully booked 12 months in advance.

5. Can we customize our ceremony or timeline?

Absolutely. You’ll work with our in-house bridal coordinator and planner to curate a timeline that is ideal for your guest count, package, and vision of your wedding day.

6. How many guests can we invite to a micro wedding?

Our packages are designed with small or medium-sized groups with up to 100 guests.

7. Do you help with vendor coordination?

Absolutely and even better, we simplify the entire vendor process for you.

At The Effortless Wedding, all of your core vendors are included within one single contract. This means you don’t have to search for vendors, manage multiple contacts, negotiate pricing, or coordinate details between different teams. We’ve already curated and trained a trusted group of professionals who work seamlessly together under our all-inclusive model.

Instead of traditional vendor coordination, you get:

  • One communication channel via a private portal

  • One planning process

  • One unified team that already knows your timeline, your vision, and our systems

This streamlined approach eliminates stress, miscommunication, and guesswork ensuring your wedding day runs smoothly from beginning to end.

8. What happens if the weather is bad on our wedding day?

Elopement will have a back up plan of using the chapel at the venue, micro weddings will discuss a rain contingency plan with their planner during the planning process. For offsite elopements, we will do our best to provide a backup plan in the event of dangerous weather conditions.

9. Can we add more photography time if needed?

Absolutely, all of our packages are customizable and able to add additional time for photography to ensure every detail and moment is captured.

10. Do you provide a wedding day timeline?

Yes, two weeks prior to your elopement you’ll receive an email confirmation with the timeline and itinerary along with your team information. Micro weddings will receive a custom wedding guide with the full itinerary, vision board, and vendor information.

11. Do you allow outside photographers or vendors?

Elopements may have their own officiant, hair and makeup, and florist. Micro weddings may bring in their own florist, officiant, and licensed & insured caterer. However; photography, videography, and day of coordinator are required to be The Effortless Wedding team members in order to provide a quality and streamlined process.

12. What is the difference between an elopement and a micro wedding?

At The Effortless Wedding, the main difference comes down to scope, space, and experience.

Elopement:
An elopement is our most simple and intimate offering. It includes a ceremony-only experience without the use of the reception hall. This is ideal for couples who want a short, meaningful, beautifully photographed “I do” with minimal structure and fewer moving parts.

Micro Wedding:
A micro wedding includes full use of the venue, including the reception hall. These packages offer a more complete wedding experience; still small and intentional, but with space for a celebration, seating, mingling, and additional photography coverage. It feels like a traditional wedding, just on a smaller scale.

  • Elopement = ceremony only

  • Micro wedding = ceremony + reception hall celebration

Both options are designed to be stress-free, elegant, and effortless. You simply choose the experience that fits your vision.

13. Does the price vary for weekday or weekend?

Elopement packages are $100 additional for weekends.

14. How quickly do we receive our full gallery?

Most of the time galleries are delivered between 4 and 6 weeks. Sometimes when it’s the slower season galleries may be delivered earlier and peak season they may be delivered a little longer than normal delivery periods. Please send us a text or email if you wish to inquire on the timeline of your gallery.

15. How many edited photos do we get?

This greatly varies on the package, hours of photography, guest size, participation of your guests, and weather. We strive to send the best of the gallery and provide as many photos from the moments captured during your wedding day.

16. Are engagement photos included?

Since many of our couples are planning a destination wedding, engagement photos are not included in the packages. However we always love getting to photograph our couples before the wedding day. It helps to build that rapport with the photographer and help you to feel relaxed and confident on your wedding day. If you wish to add engagement session to your package, please reach out.
